Petros Fassoulas became chairman in 2009, having been vice-chairman responsible for media relations. Has also become a member of the EM national executive and regional coordinator for London.
Petros has extensive EU experience after working in Brussels for the EU institutions and as a consultant. More recently was an adviser to the EU Committee of the House of Lords - and now works as a regulator in the financial sector. Is also on the board of Europe United.
Anna Arki - Vice-chairman
Anna Arki runs a speaker service for the
European Movement nationally. A former BBC current affairs producer, she has also worked as political liaison officer for the Britain in Europe campaign and for Europe Direct in London.
Eva Eberhardt - Vice-chairman
Eva Eberhardt was actively involved in organising CLEG's Speak Up Europe programme. Works as a EU gender and civil society expert, leading many EU research projects and teaching EU social policies.

Mark Paterson joined the committee in 2009.
Richard Wassell - Hon treasurer
Richard Wassell was CLEG chairman 2000-3 and a member of the EM national executive 2007-9. National coordinator for the EM Speak Up Europe project 2007-8 and now for the follow-on European Citizens Consultation.
Is a director of the European education trust Centre for Europe and a council member of ESAN (European Social Action Network). Within EuNet (European Network for Education and Training) he chaired the council for development and cooperation 2008-9. Soon Yeng Chiam - Campaigns officer
Soon Yeng Chiam, CLEG vice-chairman 2000-3 and 2004-7, remains responsible for coordinating campaigning activities. She is a senior public affairs manager with a City financial institution.
Bryony Hoskins - Education officer
Dr Bryony Hoskins, a research specialist in citizenship education who has worked for both the Council of Europe and European Commisssion, joined the committee in 2009 and is concentrating on our schools initiative.
Nick Lowe - Policy officer (trade and finance)
Nick Lowe was CLEG chairman 2003-6. Works in the international finance industry.
Chris Maddox - Policy officer (institutional development)
Dr Chris Maddox, CLEG secretary 2008-9, is also a committee member of Federal Union. He has worked as a university lecturer and consultant in organisational psychology/sociology, psychoanalytic psychology and psychotherapy for over twenty years.
Hilary Naqvi - Membership officer
Hilary Naqvi joined CLEG in June 2008 after being a member of the EM group in Oxford.
Worked in the European Parliament in Brussels for five years and has been closely associated with the EU overseas for fifteen years. Professionally is an education consultant running courses in presentation skills.
John Preston - International officer
John Preston, CLEG vice-chairman 2005-8 and a university lecturer, is also a committee member of Federal Union. Member of the EM national executive 2007-9.
