Eva Eberhardt, elected CLEG vice-chair in 2007, has been actively involved in organising CLEG's Speak Up Europe programme. Works as a EU gender and civil society expert, leading many EU research projects and teaching EU social policies.

John Preston, a university lecturer, is also a committee member of
Federal Union. Member of the EM national executive 2007-9 and of the UK steering committee for the Speak Up Europe campaign.
Richard Wassell - Vice-chairman (International)
Richard Wassell is inter alia responsible for our work with
Eurocapitales - and webmaster for this site. CLEG chairman 2000-3 and a member of the EM national executive 2007-9. National coordinator for Speak Up Europe from 1st June 2007. Is a director of the European education trust Centre for Europe, treasurer of
DARE (Democracy and Human Rights Education in Europe) and a board member of
ESAN (European Social Action Network). Within EuNet (European Network for Education and Training) he chairs the council for development and cooperation. Treasurer/international officer with
Veterans in Europe.
Isabel Obert - Hon secretary
Isabel Obert, by profession a lawyer, represents London branches on the EM Branches Forum.
Anna Arki - Hon treasurer
Anna Arki is also speakers officer for the European Movement nationally.

Campaigns officer
Soon Yeng Chiam, CLEG vice-chairman 2004-7, remains responsible for coordinating campaigning activities.
She is a senior public affairs manager with a City financial institution.
Petros Fassoulas - Press officer
Petros Fassoulas is responsible for press work and event organisation. He has extensive EU experience after working in Brussels, first for the EU institutions and then as a consultant. He currently works as an advisor to the EU Committee of the House of Lords. He is also on the board of Europe United."
Richard Laming - EM national secretary
Richard Laming, elected secretary of EM-UK from 2007, was formerly head of campaigns for the national European Movement. Member of the executive committee of the International European Movement. Works in public affairs in London and is Director of Federal Union.
